Job Description


As a customer service agent for the H&M Group, your most important responsibility is to make our customers' lives easier.

You will start your journey with a paid training tailored to your availability. You will then join our young, ambitious, and international team to support our German-speaking customers whenever they contact us about our stores, our online shop, our products, or their orders.

Our customer service center is in Maastricht, the Netherlands.


Qualifications


Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German is a must. Your spoken English also needs to be on a good level to be able to discuss with your colleagues who don’t speak German.

Having excellent computer skills and being knowledgeable about MS Office will make it way easier for you to start the job.

You are:

  • Available to follow a 38-hours training divided over 2 weeks starting June 5th.
  • Available to work at least 16 hours/week after your training. You will be planned in consultation but consider that you must work sometimes during evenings and/or on weekends.
  • Living in the Maastricht/Liège/Aachen area and in possession of a valid work permit (if applicable) and a Burger Service Number (BSN) for the Netherlands or able to obtain it before the training starts.
  • Customer friendly and strong in empathy.
  • In possession of a positive attitude and mindset.
  • Solution-oriented and stress resistant. Multitasking is second nature to you.
  • Not afraid to make mistakes, but able to follow instructions.

Additional Information


What do we offer:


  • A contract of minimum 16 hours/week (you can choose to work more hours)
    with the possibility to get a permanent contract.
  • An initial paid training of 38 hours, which you will follow in our center in Maastricht. You will discover how we support our customers with the tools at our disposal, together with the routines and procedures we all need to follow.
  • We allow you to decide for yourself at what time you are available to come to our center and follow your training, as long as you plan 38 hours in total which can be spread over 2 weeks. We will be available for you between 8.30 and 20.00. We will ask you to plan this in advance by filling in your availability during the recruitment process.
  • We will provide you with a company laptop with additional equipment to support our customers.
