Compliance Administrator [New Zealand]


 

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Administrator to join our Business Advisory Services (BAS) team. You will support our team in ensuring our tax compliance delivery to clients is both accurate and timely, drawing on your sound administration and data processing experience.

You will provide overall management of the tax administration for our office (including electronic filing of tax returns, reconciliation of transactions and management of correspondence), liaise with IRD on a regular basis and work closely with our BAS team and our clients.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in administration or accounts with a highly accurate data entry skillset
  • Experience using technology – someone who is quick to learn new systems and platforms
  • Be task-driven and able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication
  • Have the confidence to develop relationships and build rapport with our internal team, but also with our clients
  • Be organised, structured and able to manage your time effectively and consistently meet deadlines
  • Be confident to implement procedural changes to improve the efficiency of our administration function - this role requires structure, but also flexibility to constantly adapt to changing technology and to juggle client priorities
