Job Advertisement: Manager Contracts & Tendering - (Eiffel- Head Office ISB)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Contracts & Tendering to join our esteemed contracting firm based in G-8, Islamabad.
Candidate must have:
- QS Background
- Also worked as QS, Sr QS & CQS
- At least 2 years of Experience as Contract Manager
- FIDIC proficient and well versed in Claims
- Have previously made Claims
- Prepared BOQs & IPCS
- Worked with a Contractor esp. HRL, ZKB, Mughal, Banu Mukhtar, Descon & Paragon
- Worked on Government Projects
- Minimum 5 years of working experience
Responsibilities:
- Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
- Developing and presenting project proposals
- Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
- Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
- Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
- Managing construction schedules and budgets
- Dealing with any unexpected costs
- Attending site meetings to monitor progress
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
- Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
- Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
- Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s own representatives
- Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project
- Working on-site and in an office.
- An understanding of the construction industry
- An understanding of legal documentation
Requirements:
- DAE or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Degree is preferred.
- Proven track record in managing civil engineering projects, particularly in a contracting firm.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools for scheduling and cost control.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and technical standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

The position is located in Eiffel-Head Office, Islamabad.
