As the General Manager of KSA, you will play a vital role in all aspects of the country's success, from diverse and intelligent hiring, driving merchant acquisition, guiding the operational team, owning the P&L, spearheading KSAs growth and expansion strategy and engaging in creative problem solving with the leadership team.
Responsibilities will include:
Own the growth strategy for the market and lead its implementation
Plan and execute growth strategies (both online and offline) for acquiring new merchants and retaining current merchants.
Encourage revenue growth by inspiring merchants to utilize additional products and services.
Accountable for building and driving execution on commercial targets for both top and bottom line
Responsible for developing the Go-To-market strategy on growth and expansion
Own the market operational performance and build a sustainable competitive advantage to ensure merchant retention
Own the execution. Ensure that all market strategies are effectively executed and properly measured
Oversee and manage budgeting, P&L performance, and financial optimization to reach business targets
Build deep relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Recruit, build and lead a strong, bold, and highly operational team
Advocating for the local team with the central Product and Tech teams
Build a strong, collaborative and high-performing culture on the ground that embodies
Requirements:
Experience in a leadership role at a dynamic organization: leading operations/logistics, management consulting, investment banking, and startups.
Experience in leading diverse teams, developing procedures, optimizing systems, and achieving benchmark operational goals.
Target-driven and ability to drive meeting of very aggressive targets
Strong commercial sense, sharp problem solver and ability to get things done
Strong business development and relationship-building skills
Able to roll up your sleeves, analyze the data, and pull key insights for your team.
Entrepreneurship mentality. Must be a self-starter and leader that assumes the risks and rewards of running innovative and sustainable operations.
Technology background and experience working/living in the GCC
Must have good written and spoken Arabic skills.
