Job Description
In this specific role, your main responsibility is pulp and paper industry data management and development. Daily work will focus on pulp mill & energy plant business intelligence. Our advanced cloud-based analysis portal is called AFRY Smart (AFRY Smart | AFRY). You will also collaborate across our projects teams; Forestry & Biomass, Pulp, Paper, Packaging, Tissue, Wood Products, Advanced bioproducts, or Energy teams globally.
The work can include various types of assessments; data retrievals and support for technical & operational analysis, corporate & ownership analysis, and market research. It follows that the successful candidate is expected to have experiences and skills to enable him/her to contribute in some of these fields. You will get throughout guidance for your duties and data management tools.

- Create knowledge management and develop innovative solutions for our clients
- Manage and develop bioindustry resource data and practices
- Support project delivery process, including collation of data, market and industry research, technology, corporate analysis etc.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in data management or the forest, pulp & paper, or energy sector is preferred
- Fluency in English is essential and Finnish or other second language is advantageous
- Degree from a recognized university in related fields such as engineering, business, economics, or forestry with good academic performance
- Very good command of MS Office tools (mainly Excel, PowerPoint) required, knowledge of other data analytics tools, e.g. MySQL, is appreciated
