About the Role
The Uber Advertising Sales team is looking for a strategic leader to be founding members of our newly formed Uber Advertising division. As a Team Lead for the CPG vertical, you will be responsible for owning the CPG vertical within the Uber Advertising team for Mexico! Building mutually beneficial ads partnerships with our largest CPG partners and providing guidance to the assigned commercial team. You will lead the ads sales and go to market strategy for the entire portfolio of brands in market, growing suite of ads offerings across our Mobility and Delivery platforms. You will work closely with our established New Verticals Sales, Operations and Global CPG team to consistently deliver on our partners needs. You will report to the Head of Uber Advertising in Mexico.

What you'll do
- Spearhead the end to end commercial strategy for the CPGs vertical, ensuring we are delivering on our partners’ overall growth and marketing objectives.
- Responsible for Ad Revenue results for the CPG vertical, leading negotiation and execution of key agreements with top CPG brands and advising on progress to internal senior management.
- Build relationships with Director, VP and C-level marketing executives and key marketing decision makers within CPG organizations.
- People Management (10+ team members): Team Structure, Coaching & Career Visibility.
- Be an indispensable cross-functional partner across New Verticals Sales, Operations, Delivery Product and Marketing teams ensure we are delivering on CPG partner needs. Be the main POC with our global CPG teams to ensure tight coordination and alignment with global priorities.
- Lead Uber CPG integration and expand ads product adoption. Clearly communicate the value of our newest ads products with a lens of creativity to differentiate our offerings
- Be ready to wear many hats to build our business and jump in to help your teammates when the need arises.
- Be the voice of the customer to help advise future CPG Ads product roadmaps.
What you'll need
- +8 years of full-time experience in end-to-end CPG / Large Customer Digital Advertising Sales.
- +5 years of extensive experience leading commercial teams (sales & AM), with a strong focus in team development, growth and setting them up for success.
- Experience selling ads solutions to large, complex CPG brands and organizations.
- Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written. Experience communicating with executives and cross-functional teams alike.
- Strong leadership ability and influencing skills.
- Capacity to define strategic vision and plans for flawless execution. Easy with numbers and ability to solve complex problems with efficient and effective solutions.
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
- MBA degree is a plus.
- Results driven independent thinker with proven problem-solving abilities.
- Statistical knowledge and background experience is a plus.
- Creative storyteller with the ability to utilize data to quantify opportunities and influence decision makers.
- Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
