Vertical Market Development, Sales Manager (3PL/Healthcare/Electronic) [Singapore]

Responsibilities:

  • To keep existing business and develop new business through selling the Company value propositions in specialized vertical markets.
  • To identify prospective client for the purpose of selling and to obtain market feedback for the nominated Product.
  • To exceed sales targets in accordance with the requirements provided by the Sales Management and Schenker’s policies.
  • To enhance and grow our customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in contract and price negotiations with customers.
  • Work with operational and functional groups to deliver value to the customer.
  • To draft out proposals, quotations and ensuring customers’ requirements can be met within the scope of Company capacity.
  • To monitor and ensure that customers make prompt payment, all discrepancies to be resolved or rectified promptly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree holder with at least 3 years’ of sales experience in relevant industry
  • Experience in sales planning, sales proposals, and selling the value propositions appropriate to corporate level customers and other stakeholders in the organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of sales financial targets with proven successful results
  • Ability to articulate by using of clear, convincing and tailored communication
