Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Customer Sales Representative to join our team. As a Customer Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for promoting our services, addressing inquiries, and generating new business opportunities. Your role will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing prompt and professional responses to their inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services.

3. Generate new business leads and actively pursue sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

4. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' shipping requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their business goals.

5. Collaborate with internal teams, including dispatchers and operations staff, to coordinate shipment details and ensure timely delivery.

6. Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our services.

7. Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify potential business opportunities and stay updated on industry developments.

8. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.

9. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a customer sales or account management role, preferably in the freight or logistics industry.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

3. Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on closing deals and achieving sales targets.

4. Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

5. Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, including freight forwarding, carrier management, and supply chain operations, is preferred.

6. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities.

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

9. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
